Join us on Thursday, June 20, 2024, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Schenley Plaza in Oakland for the return of Pittsburgh’s World Refugee Day and Immigrant Heritage Month Celebration!

North Side Christian Health Center is proud to be a sponsor of this event which will unite people from diverse backgrounds to recognize the valuable contributions refugees and immigrants have given to our community. There will be cultural performances, inspiring speakers, lively music, dancing, global cuisine from refugee and immigrant-owned eateries, and handmade products from local artists.

Everyone of all ages can attend and connect with various organizations to learn about the services they provide and deepen the understanding of support available in Pittsburgh.

June 20 marks World Refugee Day, a global observance honoring those forced to flee their homes. It's a poignant reminder of the challenges refugees face and the collective responsibility to protect their rights, support their integration, and seek solutions to their hardships.
