2024 Employee Appreciation Awards
Each year during National Health Center Week NSCHC recognizes the strengths and support of employees by hosting an Employee Appreciation Luncheon which includes an awards presentation. North Side Christian Health Center continually strives to maintain and support a culture of achievement and success within the organization. To that end, employees who have made significant contributions to their department or the organization are recognized by their co-workers. We’re proud to announce the award recipients for 2024:
David Bowers, Medical Receptionist
Patient Service Award: Awarded to a champion of the patients. It may be attention patients receive upon entry, rescheduling an appointment, provider’s care during a visit, or receiving financial assistance, we recognize the exceptional attention our employees give to the individual needs of our patients.
Best Attendance Award: NSCHC highly values the effort full time employees make to achieve a perfect attendance record.
Carilynn Coulter, Chief Operating Officer
Leadership Award: Awarded to the employee who displays leadership skills within and outside of their department, and goes above and beyond in support of their co-workers and the organization as a whole.
Dr. Dallas Malzi, Chief Medical Officer
Employee of the Year: Awarded to the employee who has had great achievement within the year, shown excellence in job performance, customer service, team work, attendance, leadership, productivity, innovation, mission, and value.
Billy Jo Pace, Facilities Manager
Most Innovative Award: Awarded to an employee who likes to think outside the box. This initiative and creative problem solving is a benefit to their role, department, and the organization as a whole.
Kristina Richards, Medical Records Clerk II
Best Attendance Award: NSCHC highly values the effort full time employees make to achieve a perfect attendance record.
Hector Santos, Behavioral Health Therapist
Most Mission Driven Award: While all of our employees exemplify our core values, one employee is selected each year who makes an extra effort to share these values.
Brian Fleming, Security
Spirit Award: Awarded to the employee who expresses their support for NSCHC by participating in organizational events both internally and within the community. This person can be seen at Friday devotions, lunch celebrations, volunteering at community events, and speaking on behalf of the organization.
Special thanks to Babb Insurance for hosting the Employee Appreciation Luncheon in their Blizburgh Hideaway, to Bistro To Go for serving up a delicious tailgate-themed lunch, and Medix for providing dessert. This appreciation luncheon was held during National Community Health Center week, specifically on NSCHC Sports Day. Staff was encouraged to wear their favorite sports jerseys.
We extend our appreciation to all North Side Christian Health Center employees for their remarkable contributions. Each plays a vital role in helping us achieve our important mission of providing quality healthcare to all, regardless of ability to pay.
