At North Side Christian Health Center, every team member plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care—and Kristina Richards is no exception. Since joining NSCHC in 2019, Kristina has grown from her position in the front office to become our Medical Records Clerk II, now leading the Medical Records Department with precision and heart.

Kristina ensures timely, accurate processing of medical records for patients, healthcare partners, and insurance providers. Her responsibilities include coordinating essential documentation for critical services like mammograms, colonoscopies, cancer screenings, and follow-up care after hospital stays. Working closely with NSCHC’s Quality Improvement Team, Kristina helps keep patient care on track and ensures no detail is overlooked.

She also monitors all incoming mail and faxes, ensuring paperwork is complete and accurate before it reaches providers. Behind the scenes, Kristina keeps operations running smoothly making a real impact on the quality and continuity of care NSCHC provides.

“Patient care has always been my top priority from the day I started at NSCHC and will remain my top priority as long as I am here,” Kristina shares. “Our patients and staff rely on me to help make our processes as smooth as possible. I love my position and making a difference whenever I can.”

Born and raised on Pittsburgh’s Northside and now living in the West End, Kristina’s roots in the community run deep. She’s a proud mother of three and a grandmother of two, and she brings that same pride and care to her work every day. “God has put me here, and I plan on making Him proud,” she says.

Kristina is a perfect example of the passion and purpose that defines NSCHC. We’re honored to have her as part of our team.
